Most people think cats don't like to be groomed and bathed, but most do enjoy a pamper session and with regular grooming become relaxed with the procedure.

It is just as important to groom a cat as it is any animal and helps to detect health problems early.

Longhaired breeds in particular should be groomed regularly to help prevent matting which cause sores and discomfort for the cat. Regular grooming helps prevent the matts forming and reduces the need to clip.

Nails should be checked regularly and clipped to prevent them getting too long and embedding in the cats foot. Clipping the nails is a painless procedure and will prevent damage to furniture and scratches when handling.

Cats can enjoy spa facials and pedicures too please look at our dog page for information.
